Medication Policy

Medication Policy--Policy for Administration of Medications

Students who are to take medication during the school day must have a medication dispersal form filled out by a parent/legal guardian.  The form and medication should be given to the school secretary to place in a secured area.  All medications will be dispersed by the school personnel.  All dispersals will be recorded by the school employee. Because of unknown complications encountered with aspirin it shall be the policy of the MINOT CATHOLIC SCHOOLS to not administer or distribute any medication not having a dispersal form.  We do not encourage a child’s bringing cough medicine, cough drops, aspirin, etc., to school. If these items are brought to school, they may not be taken without a medication consent form. The form may be obtained from the school office or downloaded below.
