Bishop Ryan High School ~ Grades 6-12 » Sixth Grade
Grade 6 is always an exciting year for students! It is their first year at Bishop Ryan...they're the wide-eyed rookies, taking everything in and enjoying their expanded horizons! They have 5 teachers, and move to different classrooms several times a day. They join the student body for lyceums, Mass, and pep rallies. They get involved in service projects that are both school-wide and specific to their grade; like the Onesie project for prospective Bishop Ryan students, raising funds and materials for the God's Child Project and St. Bernard's Mission School at Ft. Yates, bringing in nonperishable foods for the Our Lady of Grace pantry, providing a gift for a name off an angel tree, and more. But most of all, our Bishop Ryan sixth graders are busy learning to be good disciples in their work and in their play.
